Aakash has vast and rich experience in diverse area of laws including constitutional law, laws relating to environment, mining, succession and inheritance, shareholder disputes and other commercial laws. He regularly advises clients on complex litigations and multi-jurisdictional disputes before various Courts in India as well as domestic arbitral tribunals and international arbitral tribunals (both institutional and ad hoc).
Aakash’s forte has been litigation regarding mining law and environment law in India. He regularly advises, assists, and represents on various issues regarding the same including complications with environment clearances, consent to operate etc. Aakash has also been part of various landmark decisions relating to Mines and Minerals (Development) Act 1957, Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Act 2015 and Environment (Protection) Act 1986.
Aakash has also represented clients in various cases before the Supreme Court in relation to illegal mining in the States of Karnataka, Odisha and Goa. He has consistently garnered accolades from clients and the legal fraternity for his expertise.
